Adventure on the high seas

When you’re surrounded by pristine turquoise waters, the only thing to do is dive in and enjoy aquatic adventures for the whole family.

Powerboat Adventures

If your family is looking for high speed on the high seas, head to Powerboat Adventures for a boat ride you won’t soon forget. Zip through warm Bahamas waters to Ship Channel Cay where you and your family will spend the day on a private island. Snorkeling with tropical fish, swimming with stingrays, dining by the beach, there’s no end to the family memories you’ll make while enjoying this boating adventure.

Aquaventure

We can’t talk about aquatic family fun without mentioning Aquaventure! Atlantis Resort’s one-of-a-kind waterscape has 20 million gallons of water waiting to be explored! Slide into The Abyss and through a shark lagoon on the 50-foot waterslide of the same name, lounge on an inner tube as you and your family float down the Lazy River or splash and ride along the rapids of The Current. Did we mention you’ll also have 20 swimming pools to choose from? The water park is open to guests of Atlantis and Comfort Suites Paradise Island.

Animal Kingdom

Ardastra Gardens & Zoo

Get up close and personal with animals native to Nassau Paradise Island, including The Bahamas’ national bird, the Caribbean Flamingo, at Ardastra Gardens, Zoo & Conservation Centre. Over the past 60 years what started as a small nature preserve has evolved into a tropical garden and is the only zoo in The Bahamas. Kids will love the petting zoo and the marching flamingo presentation is a delight for the whole family.
