Junkanoo Parade on New Year’s Day

If you’re looking for a uniquely Bahamian experience to welcome 2024, head to Bay Street for Junkanoo! As Nassau & Paradise Island’s biggest celebration, it’s both a parade and a party — with large groups dressed in elaborate costumes, dancing down the street to the sounds of drums, horns, bells, and whistles.
