Posted by: Nassau Paradise Island on June 01, 2021

One of the most enjoyable parts of taking a vacation is choosing where to go for dinner – and getting a break from cooking and cleaning, of course! Here in Nassau Paradise Island, we’ve got delicious meals on the menu no matter what you’re craving. Of course, sampling authentic Bahamian cuisine and fresh Caribbean flavors is a must, but did you know you can also get incredible international dishes here, too?

Before you make your dinner reservations, check out our guide to the international flavors of Nassau Paradise Island and get ready to travel the (culinary) globe right here in Paradise.

Italian

Tables are set for dinner in a large dining area with white pillars and an intricately painted ceiling.

A slice of cheesy pizza, a heaping plate of fresh pasta – Italian food is beloved around the world and it’s easy to see why! Check out Carmine’s in Marina Village, a family-friendly eatery that serves up generous portions of classics like chicken scarpariello and shrimp scampi. At SLS Baha Mar, Fi’lia’s wood-fired oven produces delicious pizzas topped just the way you love them.

French

Picture a cozy French bistro or cafe serving up delicious bites in the middle of sunny Paradise – does it get any more perfect than that? Located at Rosewood Baha Mar, Café Boulud The Bahamas offers the legendary French influences of Chef Daniel Boulud with a tasty Bahamian twist in an elegant atmosphere. You can also savor the French stylings of Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten at  Dune, located at The Ocean Club, A Four Seasons Resort.

Japanese

Nobu at Atlantis

Sushi fans rejoice: some of the world’s most noteworthy sushi restaurants are right here in Nassau Paradise Island. Just off the casino floor at Atlantis Paradise Island, you’ll find Nobu, the legendary namesake of Chef Nobu Matsuhisa. Choose from an extensive list of classic rolls, fresh and innovative dishes, and fun sides. At Baha Mar, Katsuya by Starck serves up traditional sushi favorites and Bahamian exclusives, plus one-of-a-kind cocktails to pair with your meal.

If Chinese food is what you’re craving, book a table at Shuang Ba, located at Baha Mar. This elegant eatery boasts a lush, moody ambiance and the menu is packed with authentic Chinese dishes incorporating fresh Bahamian ingredients. At Atlantis Paradise Island, Chop Stix offers gourmet Chinese in a sleek setting. For something a little more casual, Stix Noodle Bar at Baha Mar serves hand-pulled noodles and dim sum, and is open until 10 p.m. – perfect for a late-night craving!

Mexican

Rosewood Baha Mar Costa Exterior

Spicy and bold, the flavors of Mexican cuisine pair nicely with a sunny vacation. For a prime Mexican-inspired dining experience, head to Costa at Baha Mar, where you can perch in a communal cabana with old and new friends over small plates and refreshing tequila cocktails. Prefer to grab and go? Next to the beach at Baha Mar you’ll find El Jefe, offering frosty margaritas and cervezas, tacos, sopas, and more. Tacos with your toes in the sand – the quintessential vacation lunch!

Mediterranean

Creamy hummus, savory flatbreads, fresh produce, and perfectly seasoned meats...Mediterranean cuisine is a delicious choice no matter where you go in the world! At Cleo Mediterraneo, guests can feast on the flavors of Chef Danny Elmaleh’s award-winning dishes. Order sharing plates and mezze platters for the group to sample as many different dishes as possible. Feel like seafood? At Grand Hyatt Baha Mar, 3 Tides Fish House serves up the freshest fish and seafood with a Mediterranean spin.
