Plan a ceremony on the beach, exchange vows in a lush landscaped garden, or dance the night away in an elegant ballroom: whatever your wedding style looks like, Nassau Paradise Island’s venues provide the perfect backdrop for your big day. And if you’re looking for something out of the ordinary, you’ll find that here, too.

Dolphin Cay at Atlantis

At Atlantis, Paradise Island, couples can take their pick from more than 20 unique, gorgeous venues. Choose from low-key (a barefoot ceremony in the sand) to dramatic (exchange rings with the dramatic columns of Baths Colonnade as your backdrop). But what if you’d like to add some truly unconventional guests to your wedding? Host your reception at Dolphin Cay for a completely one-of-a-kind experience. Dolphins frolicking in the background as you toast your friends and family–it doesn’t get any better if you’re a lover of sea life!

Atlantis Heart Sculpture

We’re predicting that the next big Instagram trend you’ll see from couples at Atlantis, Paradise Island will be photos snapped in front of Antonius Roberts’ striking heart installation. After Roberts was appointed the official Art Consultant for Atlantis, created a new piece to represent the heart, a universal symbol of love that also supports the resort’s “Bahamas at Heart” commitment. Intended to inspire both guests and the Bahamian community, this eye-catching sculpture–complete with a swing–has been installed at the Flying Fish Knoll garden in front of The Royal. It’s a symbolic spot to exchange rings, or simply pose for a pic that’s truly unique! Guests can also admire Roberts’ “Sacred Space” installation at The Cove Beach.

The Cloisters

You may not be expecting to find a 12th-century Augustinian cloister in The Bahamas. Brought across the Atlantic piece-by-piece from France, this stunning structure is one of the highlights of The Ocean Club’s incredible grounds. Perched above the exquisitely landscaped Versailles Gardens, the Cloisters offer breathtaking views of Nassau Harbour and the sea beyond for up to 300 guests. Coupled with The Ocean Club’s legendary service and gourmet dining, a wedding at The Cloisters is sure to be an unforgettable affair for everyone who attends.

With 1,000 feet of private beachfront, plus a covered pavilion with lovely water views, there’s plenty of room for your family and friends (or just the two of you). Choose one of Sandy Toes’ wedding packages and let their team of coordinators handle all the details, or customize your own celebration–either way, it promises to be a magical day.

Graycliff

If your love of wine is second only to your love for each other (or maybe it’s the other way around...we won’t tell!) then Graycliff is a perfect pick for your wedding day. Home to one of the world’s largest wine cellars, plus a gourmet five-star restaurant, Instagram-worthy pool, and lush landscaped grounds, Graycliff is an elegant retreat in the heart of Nassau. Steeped in history and local lore, Graycliff hosts picture-perfect wedding ceremonies–and with that wine selection, you know the reception will be one for the books!

Christ Church Cathedral

Perhaps you’re looking for a destination wedding but still want to maintain some of the traditional elements you know and love. Christ Church Cathedral, located in downtown Nassau, is a gorgeous historic structure with a spacious, airy interior and pretty stained glass windows. The cathedral is a historic landmark in Nassau: the present-day church was built in 1841, but the original dates back to 1670–the first church built on the Islands of The Bahamas.

Fort Charlotte

Historic elements? Check. Postcard views? Check. For a fresh take on “I Do”, why not choose a venue that’s stood the test of time? Located on a high ridge above the city of Nassau, Fort Charlotte offers spectacular views and plenty of wonderful photo ops. The fort is an unexpected location for both small and large weddings at any time of day (a sunset ceremony is particularly breathtaking.)
