Pt 2: #FiveDaysInParadise-Instagrams

We can’t believe #FiveDaysInParadise is over! It’s been a jam-packed week of amazing food and dining experiences, stunning beaches and nonstop fun. The last days of our trip were spent exploring the One&Only Ocean Club, the Ardastra Gardens & Zoo and Aquaventure.

Here are some awesome photos from the last two days…

We stopped in to see our friends at the The Ocean Club, A Four Seasons Resort, Bahamas. The beautiful property is filled with lush tropical trees and plants, making you feel like you’re walking through secret garden. It’s also located on a stunning beach making it the perfect setting for your luxury Bahamas wedding.

Did you know that Flamingos are the National Bird of The Bahamas? It’s true! And where’s the best place to see live Flamingos in The Bahamas? At Ardastra Gardens & Zoo. The Zoo also puts on three interactive Flamingo shows a day for visitors.

We stopped and grabbed some lunch along the Arawak Cay boardwalk. Arawak Cay hosts an assortment of small, local food spots specializing in Bahamian dishes. If trying conch is on your Nassau Paradise Island bucket list then head to Frankie Gone Bananas (or any of the other local favorites, like Twin Brothers).

It wouldn’t be a proper visit to Atlantis without an afternoon at Aquaventure. From the Power Tower to the Mayan Temple, featuring the notorious Leap of Faith, to the crazy rapids of the not-so-lazy river, it was an afternoon filled with water slides, sunshine and screams!

The second to last dinner of our trip was at Bobby Flay’s nationally acclaimed southwestern restaurant, Mesa Grill at The Cove Atlantis. If you’re a steak lover, this is the place for you! Don’t worry though; they have other mouthwatering dishes too. We tried the grilled mahi-mahi, pork tenderloin and chile relleno. Everything was delicious!

…And then it was time to say Goodbye to Nassau Paradise Island. But it’s never really goodbye, we prefer to say, “See you soon paradise!”
